Canada Fireworks (and Beach Clean-up)

The stars, planets & flaming exploding balls of fun have finally aligned and we are able to celebrate Canada Day long weekend with a bang!

East Fawcett Lake Campers Club Fireworks display will be taking place at the main beach @11pm Friday July 2nd (in case of inclement weather Saturday will be the backup). We currently have enough money in the fund for an approximately 15 minute show. If you would like to donate some extra funds please send any donations prior to June 27th before I purchase the fireworks & head up for the week. A little extra can go a long way to enhancing the display. Keep in mind, fireworks anywhere on the resort are prohibited (they are illegal without a permit) at all times other than this night at the Main Swimming Beach! If you have purchased fireworks you are welcome to fire them off on the beach before the main show, or feel free to drop them off at lot #161 over the course of the week and we will be happy to add them to the excitement.

Please try and maintain physical distancing as best as possible as we are not quite yet out of the woods in regards to the Covid Cooties. In addition please obey all barriers & road blocks as the area can get very busy and we need a perimeter for everyone’s safety. ATV’s will not be allowed in the area during the show unless there are special circumstances.

Remember guest fees go directly to making all these fun events possible and to thank Kathy or Melissa of the Campers Club Council for all their hard work.

Help is appreciated the following morning @11am for a beach cleanup as they can make quite the mess. Bring a bucket and some gloves.
