Canada Fireworks
The fireworks show is set to happen Friday night of the July long weekend. Bring a lawn chair as ATVs will not be allowed in the area. This event is run by volunteers and paid for by your donations, so be sure to put something in the coffee pot to help out. You are welcome to light your own fireworks from the beach, right around dusk. The main show will start as soon as it is dark enough.

Continuing a long standing tradition at the lake, there will be a Canada Quad Parade that travels throughout the Resort. Anyone interested in joining the parade is encouraged to dress up both your selves and your quads in our national red and white colors and meet at the north end of Narrows Way (top of the hill) for a 1.00pm start. There is no charge to join this event. If you will not be in the parade this year, be sure to put out your lawn chair in front of your lot and cheer on the participants.

Garage Sale Day
Its Garage Sale season. Time to clean out that shed and find all that "perfectly good" stuff, that for some reason you never use. The Fawcett Lake Resort Campers Association Annual Garage Sale Day will be the perfect time to see that it goes to a good home, and puts a little money in your jeans too. If you are interested in selling that day, there is no need to register. Come down to the picnic shelter for our last family barbeque of the season. There will be corn on the cob, burgers (including veggie burgers) and hot dogs. All proceeds go the Fawcett Lake Resort Campers Association. With the weather cooling off, we may even have a fire afterwards for a community sing -a-long. Adults - $5.00 Youth - $3.00

Family Day Ice Fishing Derby
Howdy campers! It's that time of year again for getting out to fish the hardwater and spend some family time at the lake. The derby will be held at the picnic shelter down by the beach this year. To register and fish is completely free. The only thing that I ask is that everyone over the age of 18 must donate a prize. FLRCA Annual Meeting 2017
The Annual Meeting is once again scheduled for the Sunday of the May long weekend (May 21, 2017), at 1.00pm by the Store Community Building. Thanks to Martina (lot 146) for running it again this year. Remember, this is the main meeting of our community and decisions will be made that could affect you. If you have a topic you would like discussed at the meeting, send it to the events coordinator. All are welcome, but don’t forget to bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather because it is held outside.

Come celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday with our long standing tradition of the Canada Quad Parade throughout the Resort. Everyone, young and old, is encouraged to dress up both your selves and your ATV, bicycle or whatever, in our national red and white colors. There is no charge to join. Meet at the north end of Narrows Way (top of the hill) for a 1.00pm start.
